Job scam indicators
Treat these as warning signs — especially when someone contacts you outside the platform.
- Unrealistic pay for little work, or pressure to decide immediately.
- Requests for upfront fees, training payments, or “processing” charges.
- Asks for bank details, Singpass credentials, OTP codes, or copies of your NRIC/passport before a formal offer.
- Vague job ads, poor grammar, or brand names that do not match an official company site.
- Interviews only over chat apps, with no verifiable company contact path.
Phishing red flags
Scammers often impersonate job platforms or employers.
- Sender domains that are not clearly tied to the company (for example random Gmail accounts claiming to be “HR”).
- Generic greetings, urgent threats, or links that do not match the official website URL.
- Requests to download unexpected attachments or “assessment tools” from untrusted sources.
- Messages that ask you to move the conversation off-platform immediately and keep it secret.

Use this checklist so you can spot impersonation. We only document channels the product actually uses today.
Website and Contact form
Use sgjobseeker.com and the in-product Contact form for support, privacy requests, and scam reports. Prefer typing the address yourself instead of clicking unexpected links.
Email and WhatsApp
Official support email is admin@sgjobseeker.com. Official WhatsApp is +65 8962 2303. We will never ask for your password, OTP, Singpass login, or upfront job fees on these channels.
What to treat as suspicious
Ignore messages from other WhatsApp numbers, SMS, or social DMs claiming to be SGJobseeker about jobs or payments. Prefer typing sgjobseeker.com yourself, and verify any chat against the published WhatsApp number above.
Suspect a scam? Report it
If something feels wrong, stop sharing information and report it.
- Capture screenshots, the job title/link if any, phone numbers, emails, and what was asked of you.
- Send details through Contact (choose privacy/security or other) so we can review platform-related abuse.
- If money or identity details were already shared, contact your bank and use Singapore scam-reporting channels below.
- Do not click further links from the suspicious sender, and do not send more documents or payments.
Interview and document safety
Verify the company through its official website before interviews. Avoid putting NRIC, bank, or medical details on a résumé unless a legitimate employer needs them after a formal offer. If a video interviewer seems inconsistent or refuses ordinary verification, pause and check through official channels.
