SGJobseeker is a Singapore hiring marketplace. This page explains, in plain language, how we handle personal data under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) — aligned to what the product actually does.

What we collect
Account details (such as name and email), profile and résumé content you choose to provide, application activity, employer company information, and technical events needed to run and secure the product.
Why we collect it
To help candidates find and apply for jobs, to help employers run hiring workflows, to secure accounts, to send service messages you need, and to improve the product experience.
How we protect it
We use role-based access, database row-level security, private résumé storage with ownership checks, encryption in transit, and provider-managed encryption at rest. Data for the marketplace is stored in Singapore (ap-southeast-1).
You’re in control
You can update your profile, change your password, and delete your candidate account from product settings. Deletion anonymises personal details and removes résumé files promptly. For access, correction, or other PDPA requests, contact us through the privacy request category.
